When you check a vehicle you type a registration number. It is sent to a lookup service so that official DVSA MOT and DVLA vehicle records can be returned. Registration numbers identify vehicles, not people, and the lookup does not ask for your name, address or contact details.
Temporary Caching
To keep the service fast, recent lookup results may be held briefly on the server and then discarded automatically. Your browser may also keep the registration in the address bar and history.
Analytics And Cookies
If analytics is enabled, anonymous usage information such as pages visited and general device type may be collected to improve the site. The site does not use advertising profiles. You can block analytics in your browser settings.
